Juanita Travis

Author Jaunita Travis was born in 1935, in Steubenville Ohio and grew up in Columbus Ohio where the values of faith, family, and community were deeply ingrained. Her Christian faith has been a guiding light throughout her life, influencing her worldview and her writing. Juanita is blessed with a large and loving family. She and her late husband Daniel Travis have four children. Of those four children she has eleven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren. Her family has always been her greatest source of joy and inspiration, often finding their way into her poetry.
