The book, “The Journey, ” is titled after my first CD project. It is all about the process I went through from beginning to end to record my first CD. The Inspiration and message behind the music tell the story of why I wrote each song. I opened up about what was going on in my life that contributed to the songs. I share the scriptures that inspired me and the message I wanted to convey to the readers. The book has insight from my music producer about how he approached the task of helping me complete my musical assignment. The title and cover of the book are designed to pique the interest of Gospel/Inspirational music lovers around the world. Each chapter of the book is dedicated to a song from the CD project. In addition, I share stories in the book that gives the reader more insight into who I am. It has always been my desire for people to feel my music and be inspired somehow. Now that is my desire for this book. I want the readers to come away uplifted and encouraged by my writing. As a result of reading this book, I pray that the readers go on their own journeys following the assignment given to them by God.
